The video above was made with this piece of software, which is based on this piece of software. It uses neural networks, a technology that is surprisingly good at tasks like image recognition, beating humans at board games, or building a digital police state.

Basically, my setup allows me to transfer the "style" of an image to the contents of another image, and to render a smooth video of such images by determining the optical flow between frames.
