Permission for Use of the AltaVista Logos, Screenshots and Linking to our site Before you can download the AltaVista logos, use screenshots or link to our site, you must agree to our site license agreement. Trademark Information Proper trademarks and credit lines must be used with the AltaVista identity. AltaVista is a registered trademark of AltaVista Company. Signature Clear Space and Minimum Size The AltaVista identity must stand apart from any other words, graphics to clearly distinguish it as a brand mark. A distance equal to at least 1x must be maintained around the furthest point from each side of the identity. For light colored backgrounds, use black for the AltaVista identity. For dark colored backgrounds, reverse the type out in white. Also avoid printing the identity on complex backgrounds.
