If you answered 'Yes' to one or more of the questions above then you share some or all of the same concerns as The Internet Police. All too often sites that appear innocent in searches turn out to be blatant hardcore pornography .... well, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! The Internet Police are here to police the internet and make sure that you only get to see exactly what you want. We are also here to lobby governments around the world to pass legislation controlling the content of internet sites, and ensuring that only content relevant to the laws of individual countries and/or states can be viewed within those countries and/or states. The Internet Police will achieve their aims in several ways. By pressuring governments to apply relevant legislation By monitoring internet content and awarding age and content classifications By reporting illegal activities to the police or other relevant bodies/authorities By producing FREE plug-ins for browsers to block illegal/unwanted material By producing anti-spamming plug-ins and recording and reporting spamming By logging and reporting attempts to access child pornography Your support is needed if The Internet Police are to achieve their goals. We need names to add to international petitions We need the support and voluntary agreement of ISPs to the aims of The Internet Police We need sites to voluntarily agree to have their content classified by The Internet Police We need the voluntary support of lawyers around the world to fight for the aims of The Internet Police where necessary ©1999-2000 The Internet Police - All rights reserved http://www.internet-police.co.uk/ ________________________________________________________________________________ no copyright 2000 rolux.org - no commercial use without permission. is a moderated mailing list for the advancement of minor criticism. more information: mail to: majordomo@rolux.org, subject line: , message body: info. further questions: mail to: rolux-owner@rolux.org. archive: http://www.rolux.org
